Psalms for Shared Lectio

From Advent 2023 until further notice, the group is switching from the Gospel of the day to the Psalms. The group does not usually meet over Christmas or in Holy Week. Other dates are subject to change, so please keep returning to this page.

We are using the translation of the Psalter from Common Worship, the official liturgical resource of the Church of England, following the numbering in the Hebrew. The correspondence with the numbering in the Septuagint translation used by most Catholics is provided for reference.

The order of the Psalms is random. None are excluded, but some are too long to be used in their entirety and the leader will choose an excerpt.
